The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the City of

Yet, incomplete or poorly filled out documentation continues to be the number one reason cited by U.S. Customs for delays or refused entry of goods. The U.S. Customs Documentation seminar is designed to help you understand the customs documentation required to clear your goods. The seminar is ideally suited for anyone involved in export development to the
· What is happening at the border, the role of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Customs Brokers and your responsibilities as the Importer of Record;
· Tariff classifications, Country of Origin, NAFTA and Record Keeping;
· U.S. Documentation Requirements plus an overview of some of the costs
· An overview of ACE, C-TPAT, PIP and other government acronyms
· An overview of some of costs such as duty rates, MPFs and Surety Bonds
