The Prince Edward/Lennox & Addington Community Futures Development Corporation (PELA CFDC) is please to announce the winners of its 4th Annual Business Plan Competition. This project is funded by the Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) and is intended to support the retrofit and renewal of existing commercial property.

Small businesses represent a significant percentage of all businesses in rural Canada and PELA CFDC is championing the entrepreneurial spirit by hosting two contests with both $50,000 and $5,000 interest free loans available in each county.

These competitions are FREE and open to all new and existing small businesses in Lennox & Addington and Prince Edward County. The contest was judged by a panel of business professionals and the top entry’s in both Prince Edward and Lennox & Addington Counties will be awarded the prizes described below with support packages supplied by local businesses.

The 2nd Annual Regeneration Challenge has produced the following winners, which will each receive a $5,000 interest free loan, and a renovations support package provided by Home Hardware in Picton and Odessa.
